Scott & Cathryn

Arriving at Glencoe Lochan on a showery August day, we met with Scott and Cathryn's piper and celebrant and set off on the trail leading us to a beautiful walkway onto the lochan. Scott & Cathryn opted for a humanist celebrant for their day, local celebrant Alyson Stewart began conducting the couples ceremony with the water, ducks and pap of Glencoe surrounding us.

Scott & Cathryn knew they wanted something low key and personal to them. The day reflected the pair perfectly as it was quiet, filled with lots of personal stories about how they met, their life together and hopes for the future. I felt honoured to be there with them capturing their special day.

On Cathryn's bouquet, a lovely wee touch were her grans pearls wrapped around the stems. Scott & Cathryn opted for a ring exchange then the traditional Celtic ritual of hands fasting to officially 'tie the knot!' They made it look easy and soon held up their tied ribbons and they were officially husband and wife!

Their piper congratulated them and played a few pieces for the couple which echoed around the full trail. we then descended back to the cars and headed off for the hills! 

Arriving at 'The Study' I captured the couple with their most precious friends - their dogs! we had a gentle stroll with lots of beautiful moments captured around the hills and glens. There were lots of well wishers (always happy to see a newly married couple!) I then left the couple to go and enjoy the rest of their special day together and wished them all the best.

I have one package which couples can adjust to make it more personalised. Included in my all-inclusive package is your celebrant (on the day fee), a traditional Scottish bagpiper who can also be a witness for your ceremony, 3-4 hours of documentary photography by me as well as being another witness for your day, an elopement plan with personalised timeline including recommendations to local tried and tested suppliers, as well as transport between accommodation and ceremony spot if required, an elopement guide and support right up until you say "I Do".

1. £50 to secure my planning service before any planning takes place.

2. £600 once you have received your 'Elopement Plan' and timeline.

3. Remaining balance to be paid 6 weeks before your big day.

4. Please note, 50+ miles of Falkirk I may need to add on mileage.
