I begin by getting back to your enquiry within 24 hours of receiving your enquiry. I will send you a guide to eloping in Scotland along with a link to my enquiry form to find out more about the two of you and what you envisage for your day. I give you the opportunity at this stage to speak either on zoom or over the phone or of course via email to allow you to ask questions. If you choose to go ahead and secure your date I ask for £50 upfront. I then get to work on your plan and timeline and usually have this to you within two weeks. This will include your suppliers for your day, a timeline to show you both how your day could go, your important legal information including which registration office to go to. Once you have your plan and timeline I ask for your second instalment of £600. I am then on hand right up until your elopement to guide you through each stage and to answer any questions you have. Then, the day arrives and I greet you both either at your accommodation for some prep photos or at your ceremony spot for a 'first look', we then meet with your celebrant or registrar to get you both officially hitched! We find your spot and have a personalised ceremony which you both have planned with your celebrant/registrar. I then go with you both to more spots for some scenic photographs of the two of you. I then let you go on and enjoy the rest of your day and have a preview of your photos to you within a few days.
Can I bring my family/friends?
Of course! I recommend making your day as personal to you as possible and if that means bringing along some loved ones who you couldn't imagine getting married without, then bring them with you!
I have both bank transfer and PayPal available.

How many photos will we receive and where will they be once we are married?
I do not like to give a number of photos which you would receive on your day as it does vary from couple to couple. I aim to provide a gallery which tells the story of your day and like to focus more on the quality of your images over quantity. Once you are married, within a few days after your wedding, I aim to have a preview gallery sent to you both and then aim to have the rest of your gallery uploaded within two weeks to a month depending on time of year. Your gallery will be a private, downloadable album dedicated to you which you can share with your loved ones.
I ask for a £50 fee upfront which secures your service with me and I get to work on your plan and timeline for your day. Once your plan and timeline is complete, I send you both this along with your invoice and ensure you are completely happy with it. Once you confirm you are happy with everything, I ask for your next instalment of £600 to be paid within two weeks of receiving your invoice. Finally, your last instalment can be paid six weeks before your big day.
What if we need to cancel?
If for any reason you need to cancel, I will work with you both to find the best solution going forward. If you have received your elopement plan and were happy with this, and have paid your £600, you are all up to date with your payment schedule and have paid for my service so far. If at the time of cancellation you have fully paid at the six week before mark and your no longer able to go ahead with your elopement for any reason, I will work with you both to provide any refund you are entitled to at the time except the £650 paid for my planning service.
What do other couples usually do on their elopement wedding day?
Each day is very unique to you both and every day is different as small weddings are a great way of having your day your way! However, typically, I see a lot of couples hiring an Airbnb or hotel room near their ceremony spot, getting ready there on their day, having their photographer meet them at their accommodation to capture your "first look" moment and some other natural photographs of the two of you getting ready to leave for your ceremony. We then head to your ceremony spot where your photographer takes more photos and captures your raw emotion throughout your ceremony. Afterwards, you can explore the Scottish landscape and have your photographs taken within the beautiful landscape of Scotland, creating memories which last a lifetime.
Afterwards, some couples choose to have a lovely meal together, some opt for a tour of the area, its entirely up to yourselves! That's the beauty of eloping, doing things YOUR WAY!
